The United Kingdom’s Minister for International Defence and Security Rt Hon Baroness Ann TAYLOR PC is visiting Georgia between 10-12 February 2009.

On 11 February, Minister for International Defence and Security will meet the Georgian Defence Minister, Davit Sokharulidze at MOD of Georgia at 11:00.

The aims of the visit are to develop further the strong bilateral ties between the UK and Georgia and to discuss implementation of the decision, taken recently by NATO Foreign Ministers, on the establishment of a new Annual National Programme (ANP) within the framework of the NATO/Georgia Commission.
